Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest)

If you contact me by email or via a contact form, I process your data to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions.
Legal basis:
Storage period: Until the inquiry has been fully processed, subject to statutory retention obligations.
I use Tidycal for appointment scheduling. Your data (e.g. name, email address, preferred date, optional notes) is transmitted to and processed by Calendly.
Purpose: Appointment scheduling and contract initiation/fulfillment
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
Note: Calendly may process data in third countries (e.g. the USA). In such cases, data transfers are based on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses and/or an adequacy decision, where applicable).
Payments are processed via Stripe and PayPal. Payment-related data is transmitted to the respective payment service provider.
Purpose: Payment processing / contract fulfillment
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
Please also review the privacy policies of the respective providers.

YouTube videos and Google Maps are only loaded after you consent to the category “External Media” (opt-in).

I use Google Analytics to measure reach and analyze website usage. Cookies and online identifiers may be used. Consent is generally required for tracking and analytics.
Google Analytics is only activated if you consent to the category “Statistics” (opt-in via cookie banner).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent)
Google may process data in third countries; appropriate safeguards apply.
b) Independent Analytics (WordPress)
I may additionally use Independent Analytics (a local WordPress analytics plugin). Depending on configuration, this may operate without cookies or with anonymized data.
Legal basis: Depending on setup, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest)
I configure analytics tools to process as little personal data as possible.
I use or plan to use a consent management tool (e.g. Cookiebot) to obtain and document consent for non-essential services (e.g. analytics, maps, YouTube).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation), in conjunction with consent requirements for cookies and tracking.
