What it is &
where it comes from

Awakening the Senses is a tantric couples ritual where the senses become “gateways” back into presence, love, and connection.
In Tantra, sensory awareness isn’t something “on the side” – it’s practiced consciously, slowly, and integrated into everything, like a sacred everyday ritual.

This evening is inspired by classical Tantra (incl. Kashmir Shaivism), Tao influences, and modern embodiment / psychology.

Together we enter the world of presence, connection and devotion.

Why the senses?

In Tantra, the senses are seen as a way back to the source to the place where polarity dissolves and only oneness remains.
When you smell, hear, taste, see, and feel, the moment expands & the mind gets quieter.

And right there, a special quality often emerges:
attraction & curiosity, closeness without rushing, devotion without losing yourself and intimacy.

In the Kashmir Shaivism tradition, attention is even brought to the “spaces in-between” – the tiny pauses between breaths, movements, sensations.
That’s often where things become still, wide, and deeply intimate.

Hi, I am Nico

Coach & Workshop-Facilitator.

I guide you back into body & heart into presence and real connection: clear, grounded, and modern.

For me, Tantra is a practical path into love, awareness, clarity, and connection – one that doesn’t end in the workshop, but makes everyday life feel richer.

Tantra, to me, is like a poem in the body.

FAQ

No. This is a sensual presence & senses ritual for couples — but it’s not a sex workshop. There is optional nudity but no sexual acts. The focus is on slowing down, feeling, and connecting in a dignified way — with clear structure and choice at every step.

No. You won’t be asked to “show” anything. Most of the journey happens within your own couple space, and you choose what feels right for you. This is not about looking good — it’s about feeling real, safe, and connected.

No. No partner swapping. No touch with strangers. You come with your partner (life partner, lover, or someone you deeply trust) and you practice mostly with each other. The container is designed to protect intimacy and keep the experience clear.

That’s completely normal — and honestly, very common. We work with gentle steps, clear check-ins, and consent, so both of you can stay relaxed and respected. Often, just creating safety and slowness brings desire and connection back naturally — without pressure.

Then you’re human — and welcome with all of it. Many people feel a little shy when it comes to sensuality, closeness, or being seen. You can slow down, breathe, observe, or skip anything at any time. The practice is built to soften shame, not fight it — and to bring you back into simple presence.

That can happen, and it’s okay. We prioritize regulation over intensity — meaning we slow down, orient, breathe, and come back to what feels safe. You can pause or stop at any moment, without needing to explain yourself. The aim is not to push through — it’s to stay with what’s true in a supported way.

You don’t need to believe in anything. Yes, it carries a spiritual quality. If you’re curious and open to presence, that’s enough. If spirituality feels completely uncomfortable to you, it might not be for you.

Yes — that’s part of the gift. You’ll learn a simple, clear structure you can take into everyday life: touch, eye contact, sensory awareness, and giving/receiving — in a way that feels safe and nourishing. Many couples love this most: not just a beautiful evening, but a ritual that keeps intimacy alive and real at home.
